Community Catalyst Leadership Program is back y’allllllll!
Hey, you… yeah, you. No, not you… well, actually, you too.
Have you been thinking to yourself lately, “Shoot, I wish I had the opportunity to have a MIT alumni mentor to help me craft my leadership vision, coach me through my collegiate experience to better prepare me to engage as a student, professional, and citizen at MIT and beyond?”
Well, even if you haven’t been thinking that exact thing, if you are a member of the Class of 2017, then the Community Catalyst Leadership Program, or CCLP, is a great leadership and mentorship opportunity you have the opportunity to apply for!
Established in 2007, the Community Catalyst Leadership Program (CCLP) asks participants to engage in a journey of personal leadership development and reflection. Each participant is paired with an MIT alumnus/a in a coaching relationship designed to meet each student’s personal development goals. This program is open to students regardless of prior participation in leadership opportunities at MIT. There are four components of the program: one-on-one coaching, educational sessions, leadership planning, and personal reflection.
There are a couple opportunities to learn more about the program, including info sessions on November 3rd at 7pm in 3-422 and on November 18th, from 12-1pm in 3-442.
Then, the application deadline is November 21st, 2014 – and remember, you can apply here: https://alum.mit.edu/students/NetworkwithAlumni/cclp
For those accepted, there is a mandatory Kick-Off Conference on February 8th, 2015… but that’s in a whole other year… so, like, just make sure you apply first!

We encourage coming in costume to add to the spooky fun atmosphere, and we hope MIT staff, faculty, and students will bring their families and younger children or siblings by to have some fun!
